1. 100 DAMS built on River Ganga to KILL the River
List of Hydroelectric Projects to be built on River Ganga, which will kill the RIVER

List of Hydroelectric Projects on River Ganga built when Sonia Gandhi led UPA government was in Power under PPP Model.
Indians must know that Narendra Modi Government ( with blessings of RSS ) has commissioned 100 NEW Dams on River Ganga in teeth of opposition from Uma Bharati, who claimed that new dams would kill the flow of the river. These new Dams are all about kick backs.
Narendra Modi Government is selling these DAMS to Infrastructure companies in UAE & other Arab Countries. Before UPA Government under Sonia Gandhi came to power, all DAMS were built / owned by Government now all the dams are being built by Private companies under PPP Model ( envisioned by UPA Government), which creates a big loop hole for corruption.
Basic idea behind Public Private Partnership ( PPP ) was increased scope for KICKBACKS as Infrastructure projects have Multi Billion Dollar budgets.
DEMONETISATION scheme of Narendra Modi Government was meant to Squeeze money for these infrastructure projects from pockets of indian public. Narendra Modi Government = "...Desh Drohi..." Government

  2. Destroying River Ganga with 100 dams - with blessings of RSS / VHP & SANGH PARIVAR
Modi Sarkar’s Development Agenda – 24 New Dams on River Ganga

When UPA Government of Congress President Sonia Gandhi was in power, it came up with a new model called Public Private Partnership ( PPP ) for Infrastructure projects, as it increased scope for KICKBACKS as they have Multi Billion Dollar budgets. Under Public Private Partnership ( PPP ), the Government will give the CONTRACT to a Private Infrastructure Company to build the project and complete.
UPA Government of Congress President Sonia Gandhi also came up with another model called BOT ( build operate Transfer ) for for Infrastructure projects, which was built into Public Private Partnership ( PPP ) model. Inorder to take advantage of the new Public Private Partnership ( PPP ), Big Corporates Houses started NEW Infrastructure Companies, who would get the contracts to build E-Ways , highways , bridges or new roads.
Before UPA Government came to power, all Infrastructure projects such as building E-Ways , highways , bridges or new roads, was undertaken by National Highway Authority of India ( NHAI ). But after UPA Government of Congress President Sonia Gandhi was in power, the project to build NEW E-Ways , highways , bridges or new roads was handed over to NEW Infrastructure Companies. NEW Infrastructure Companies inflated the Total Project Costs ( TPC ) several times higher than NHAI, upto 300% and in the end never went ahead with the project beyond initial stages.
Most of these NEW Infrastructure Companies got Multi Billion Dollar Loans from PSU Banks to build Infrastructure projects, and they laundered the money abroad. These Corporate Houses owned by Crony Capitalists then created web of SHELL COMPANIES in Tax Havens ( like British Virgina Islands or Cayman Islands ) to facilitate fraudulent transactions , laundered Billions of Dollars abroad and defrauded PSU banks.
To all Indians , NTPC no longer builds Thermal Power Plants – it is now being built by Jaypee Infratech & others - all owned by Crony Capitalists . Prime Minister Narendra Modi is fooling the Hindu community with Ganga Action Plan , even while sanctioning hundred more dams on River Ganga , which will destroy the river.
India’s 12TH Five-Year plan (2012 – 2017) for energy development requires Uttarakhand to build 24 more big dams by 2017 to generate 6,858 megawatts of electricity.
When UPA Government was in power , Jayanthi Natarajan – The Environment Minister refused to allow mindless Dam projects on River Ganga , the next minister who replaced her signed everything in a jiffy. Congress President Sonia Gandhi then forced Jayanthi Natarajan to resign and also resign from primary membership of the party.
BJP Government in Uttarakhand built the Tehri Dam, in spite of strong local opposition, to kill River Ganga.
Tehri dam, Jawaharlal Nehru’s pet project , probably the biggest environmental disaster in the world, is 170 Km down stream from the Gaumukh Glacier. Now Ganges is in serious danger from 600 dams that are either operational, under construction or pr...
