To fool the common public, Senior Leaders belonging to RSS , VHP & SANGH PARIVAR encouraged its Rank & File to support Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Narayan Movement but behind the scenes they were conspiring against it. Senior RSS Leaders openly supported campaign against Emergency and mobolized the cadre, but behind the scenes they were interested in cutting a closed door deal with Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
According to Subramanium Swamy – Senior RSS Leaders supported the Emergency. They were not opponents. He further stated that Senior RSS / Sangh Parivar Leaders had betrayed the struggle against the Emergency.

Senior Leaders belonging to RSS , VHP & SANGH PARIVAR took support of Baba Ramdev to campaign against UPA Government, but once on coming to power, they asked Baba Ramdev to "..FUCK OFF..".
