These Corporate Houses owned by Crony Capitalists then created web of SHELL COMPANIES in Tax Havens ( like British Virgina Islands or Cayman Islands ) to facilitate fraudulent transactions , laundered Billions of Dollars abroad and defrauded PSU banks.
To all Indians , NTPC no longer builds Thermal Power Plants – it is now being built by Jaypee Infratech & others - all owned by Crony Capitalists . Prime Minister Narendra Modi is fooling the Hindu community with Ganga Action Plan , even while sanctioning hundred more dams on River Ganga , which will destroy the river.
India’s 12TH Five-Year plan (2012 – 2017) for energy development requires Uttarakhand to build 24 more big dams by 2017 to generate 6,858 megawatts of electricity.
When UPA Government was in power , Jayanthi Natarajan – The Environment Minister refused to allow mindless Dam projects on River Ganga , the next minister who replaced her signed everything in a jiffy. Congress President Sonia Gandhi then forced Jayanthi Natarajan to resign and also resign from primary membership of the party.
BJP Government in Uttarakhand built the Tehri Dam, in spite of strong local opposition, to kill River Ganga.
Tehri dam, Jawaharlal Nehru’s pet project , probably the biggest environmental disaster in the world, is 170 Km down stream from the Gaumukh Glacier. Now Ganges is in serious danger from 600 dams that are either operational, under construction or proposed.These dams are not being built to even generate electricity but to generate BLACK MONEY, very similar to the UPA agenda. Most of these Dams are being built next to one another, like Foot steps in a staircase.

Uma Bharti who heads Ministry of Water Resources has opposed major Hydroelectric Projects proposed on Alaknanda – Bhagirathi – Mandakini River Basins putting it directly at odds with the green clearances for Dams from Power and Environment Ministry.
Soon after 2013 Kedarnath Tragedy , the supreme court had stayed green clearances for all 70 proposed Hydro-Electric Projects on Alaknanda – Bhagirathi – Mandakini River Basins. On May 10th 2016 , Additional Solicitor General SS Patwalia had informed the bench of Justice Deepak Mishra and UU Lalit , that Power Ministry and Environment Ministry favour constructing Five of six Hydro-Electric Projects –
They will all be built by Private Infrastructure Companies on Alaknanda – Bhagirathi – Mandakini River Basins under PPP Model. Taking the opposite stand Ministry of Water Resources ( under Uma Bharati ) told the Supreme Court that any addition of existing number of Hydro-Electric Projects on Alaknanda – Bhagirathi – Mandakini River rivers would spell doom for River Ganga. Narendra Modi Government through Additional Solicitor General SS Patwalia has claimed that Dams are part of “..Clean Ganga Mission..” and dams wont affect the flow of the river.
These 100 Dams built on river Ganga will NOT produce even 1 KW of Electricity, since there will be NO FLOW of Water, since all dams are being built close to existing projects.Prime Minister Narendra Modi is doing everything at the behest of RSS , who are the people, who receive the “.Kickbacks.” from Private Infrastructure Companies ,by sanctioning Loans for building Dams under PPP Model.
